We are looking to add a General Manager Climate Control (Southern Ontario Region) to the team. In this newly created role, the successful candidate will oversee all aspects of our climate operations. Reporting to John Dolson, this position will be based out of our Bolton Climate Control Division.

 

Scope: We are a leading provider of climate control solutions within the construction industry, offering a range of products and services, including construction heaters, propane supply, and HVAC systems. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager with a passion for the Climate Control in the Construction/Rental Industry. You possess a proven track record of driving business growth, expanding market share, and increasing profitability in the Heat & Climate Control sectors.

What You’ll Be Doing

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve our business goals and objectives.
  • Leading and managing a diverse team of professionals, including sales, operations, customer service, and technical staff.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Monitoring industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Implementing and maintaining safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Work closely with all levels of the organization to ensure a team-based approach to problem solving.

 

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an operations leadership role in the rental Climate Control industry.
  • A strong knowledge of the heat industry, including products, services, regulations, and best practices.
  • Post-secondary education an asset.
  • A demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • A customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Valid Class G Driver’s license with satisfactory abstract.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
