Supporting the George Hull Centre for Children and Families: Making a Difference in Children’s Mental Health

Mental Health Matters

Mental health, especially for children, is a cause close to our hearts. Many of our team members are parents, and we all share the desire to see our children healthy and thriving. Despite growing awareness, children’s mental health often remains under-funded and under-recognized. Resources can be scarce, making it crucial for us to support initiatives like the George Hull Centre’s programs, through initiatives like our gold equipment campaign.

Cooper increased their annual donation amount in 2023 by committing to donating $100,000 over of the next 4 years. Doug Dougherty, CEO, and George Hull Centre Foundation Trustee is proud of our company’s dedication to this important cause. “Cooper’s support of the George Hull Centre aligns with our philosophy of giving back to the communities our company serves across Canada. We believe children’s mental health is more important now than ever, and nobody does it better than the George Hull.”

Cooper believes in walking the talk and encourages our employees to prioritize their mental health. We had the opportunity to work directly with the George Hull Team, hosting them to speak about mental health issues and best practices to help parents understand what they can do to help their families mental health and well-being.
