This more advanced platform course encompasses the appropriate legislation due diligence, dynamics of falls, protection systems, inspection and care of equipment, harness fit check, load securement, driving hazards, working strategies, and fall protection plan.

Student exercises include pre-trip inspection, practical driving and reversing on both a scissor man lift and a boom lift.

The Course includes a theory and practical component. Please ensure to dress for the outdoor practical component. Course is being held at the Cooper Branch

PPE Requirements:

  • Steel toe foot wear
  • Hi Vis vest or jacket
  • Safety Glasses
  • Harness and Lanyard ( Training ones are available if you don’t have your own)
