Our forklift operator training course provides the essential knowledge and practical skills for the safe and efficient operation of powered industrial trucks. This comprehensive program combines classroom instruction, covering critical topics like OHSA standards, pre-use inspections, load stability, and hazard identification, with hands-on practical training. Participants will learn proper maneuvering, stacking, and load-handling techniques under the supervision of certified instructors.

Student exercises include pre-trip inspection, practical driving and reversing.

The Course includes a theory and practical component. Please ensure to dress for the outdoor practical component. Course is being held at the Cooper Branch

PPE Requirements:

  • Steel toe foot wear
  • Hi Vis vest or jacket
  • Safety Glasses
