2022 Winter Clothing Drive (Sudbury, Ontario)

Our team was thrilled to lead the 2022 Winter Clothing Drive powered by Cooper Equipment Rentals, which campaigned in Sudbury, Ontario, throughout October. Our team has passionately taken on this Cooper Cares initiative in Sudbury over the past eight years. It now redistributes over ten-thousand gently used winter clothing items into the local community each year.

2022 COLLECTION DAYS

Public Drop-Off Collection Days

Community members were encouraged to look for the Cooper tents and trucks located at each of Greater Sudbury’s four Canadian Tire locations — New Sudbury, South End, Hanmer and Chelmsford — to drop off their cleaned and bagged winter clothing items on October 15 and 22, 2022.

Rainbow School Board Collection Days

Additional collection days took place at local elementary schools within the community. With the help of local radio station KISS 105.3, Cooper was on-site to promote the clothing drive at Carl A. Nesbitt Public School on October 11 and Algonquin Road Public School on October 14.

THAT’S A WRAP FOR 2022!

We look forward to our 2023 campaign – and yes, we’ve already started planning something for next year that will surely be our biggest and best campaign to date. Just wait and see what we’ve got planned and hopefully it all works out! ?

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all for making winter a little bit warmer for those in need.
