In a municipality located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) along Lake Ontario, residents were having basement flooding issues in the spring because of the highwater tables experienced over the past few years. As a result, Cooper was tasked to provide a pumping solution to drain the storm water system so that these low-lying neighbourhoods could drain as the infrastructure was re-designed. A pumping system was installed and operated for months, keeping the neighbourhoods dry. The local residents were extremely happy with the quiet operations of the BBA silenced pumps that were in use. Over the course of the project there were no noise complaints.
