We are looking for a customer-orientedmotivated individual to join our professional team as a Gasfitter / Construction Heater Mechanic at our Heat Division in Bolton, ON.

What You’ll Be Doing

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with installation of heater(s) on customers’ site as needed (occasionally).
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems on customers’ site or over the phone.
  • Perform annual inspections, service & repairs to heaters in the Bolton Climate Control facility and occasionally on-site.
  • Document all service and repair information.
  • Complete daily hazard assessment(s) whether working on-site or in the shop.
  • Complete a daily circle check on forklift and/or service truck when utilized.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Knowledge of temporary construction heaters is an asset (direct-fired, indirect, hydronic, electrical, etc.) but training will be provided.
  • ROTs for Propane / Natural Gas / Oil burning heaters (G1 / G2 / OBT-1 certificates are preferred).
  • Must be able to obtain CH-SM1 certificate (A person who is the holder of a CH-SM1 certificate or the holder of a record of training for the purpose may service propane, natural gas or oil-fired construction heater or torch with an input of any Btuh. O. Reg. 215/01, s. 49.) when the course is available.
  • Very customer-oriented, good organizational skills and able to work independently.
  • Must have your own tools.
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed (primarily in winter months).
  • Forklift experience is an asset.
  • Experience in servicing generators is an asset (as some heater types have them attached) – training is also provided.
  • Valid driver’s license with abstract in good standing.
